Meet Lexi!
Hello friends! My name is Alexa Dearing - Lex, or Lexi for short i'm 1/2 of the beautiful dynamic duo behind AZPM. How i started with AZPM is a very interesting story. My first involvement with AZPM was back when we were actually branded as azphotomeetups completely - prior to the rebrand to AZPM. I began attending events hosted by the groups former group coordinator - Skye, and after attending a few events - i was asked to step in to help manage and run the brand. After awhile the brand was passed onto me in full - when Skye had to step down to run her own booming photography company. Shortly there after, COVID-19 hit, and azphotomeetups had to take a seat while the world figured itself out. Once COVID-19 calmed down, and things began to get back to normal- we were able to boot back up azpzhotomeetups, and i was back in business! A few months in, and i realized i needed some help with the brand - and who better than my best friend? That is when Amanda and i took on azphotomeetups, and eventually ran into the rebranded AZPM that we all know and love today.
Moving onto the fun stuff :)
A bit more about me - I have alot of hobbies - but where i thrive best is behind my PC gaming/streaming on Twitch, and behind my camera. I have been FPS gaming on PC for about 2 years now, and prior to gaming on PC i played hand held devices - dating back to the OG game boy advanced. As a photographer - i have been actively shooting since 2013 - dabbling in family photography, creative portraits, wildlife photography, architecture, and more. I hold 50+ publications, including international publications for my creative portraits, cosplay photography, and architecture. I am well established in my creative eye, and i love creating art with anyone who holds the same love of art as myself - that being said- i am open to working with creatives of all skill levels! If you have an eye for art, and an appreciation of creativity, were a creative match made in heaven! If you ever need to spot me at an event - ill be running around like an absolute collective chaos tornado -- in the best way! I will always be dressed to the theme, so if you see a tall girl with dark brown hair, and her blue haired bestie - chances are youve spotted amanda and i!

Meet Amanda!
Hey there, my name is Amanda Sweeney and I am half of the dynamic duo behind AZPM! My involvement in AZPM started off as simple as can be. My best friend asked me to join her at a shoot day in Downtown Phoenix. This was nothing out of the ordinary as I had been assisting Lex with lighting since the early days of our friendship. Little did I know, this teeny, tiny, walk-around style event would change the course of my life. I continued to join Lexi at these different events and before you know it, I was fully involved in the planning behind them. AZPM, formerly AZ Photo Meetups, was the perfect outlet for our weird Pisces creativity to run free.
Alright, enough business talk. Let me tell you all a little bit about me!
I am a through and through gamer girl with a deep love and appreciation for art. As a Pisces, I thrive in creative environments and definitely get stuck in daydream land more often than I’d like to admit. I am also an obnoxiously proud dog mom to my little Chihuahua boy (yes, he does have his own Instagram). Need to find me at an event? I am pretty easy to spot! I’ve always got bright blue hair and will ALWAYS be on theme. See you at the next AZPM event!
