Meet Tae!
Tae is our official first Brand Ambassador at AZPM! WOO!
We asked Tae some questions and here's what they had to say.
Q: When did you start attending our events?
A: September of 2022
Q: How long have you been modeling?
A: I was a cosplayer for most of my childhood and took those skills into modeling around 2017.
Q: What are your favorite things to model? (Certain photography styles, props, type of clothing, etc.)
A: I LOVE stylized fashion, even more if it's from a distinct era. Victorian, flapper, disco, jukebox, 90's grunge, 2000's baby doll, etc.
Q: Do you have a favorite photoshoot you've done? If so, tell us about it!
A: Unfortunately, I don't really have a favorite. My most memorable ones tend to be the ones where the collaboration is buzzing and the environment is positive.
Q: Where do you draw inspiration from when modeling, planning photoshoots, planning outs, etc.?
A: Thrift and antique stores actually. Most of what I wear is second hand, thrifted, or locally made. I am always digging through thrift store racks for unique pieces.
Q: What tips do you have for new models?
A: Don't be afraid to try that weird pose or wear that strange outfit! This is an opportunity to create so try whatever comes to your mind; the best shots come out of the moments where you are forward with your ideas.
Q: What types of challenges have you had to overcome in your time as a model, and how did you overcome that situation? (loss of inspiration, learning new skills, working with others, etc.)
A: I struggle with a LOT of anxiety issues. There are many days where I feel like backing out or quitting because I'm scared. Truth is, I put up a big fake wall of confidence when I first arrive to a lot of photoshoots, but by the end it's almost never fake anymore. I am able to find genuine moments of confidence.

Tae became a Brand Ambassador for AZPM in February 2023 because of their electric personality and magical energy. They always "commit to the bit" to create pure art through their modeling. We love watching Tae express their creativity through makeup, fashion, and dynamic posing.
